We've spent the last 35 plus years wholesaling to advisors. And it used to be that there was content in the form of literature and collateral and the wholesaler determined what content best suited an advisor during an in-office appointment.
The fact is that advisors don't want to see wholesalers in their offices nearly as often as they once did. Advisors still value the voice of a wholesaler, but they will do plenty of homework on your firm before they ever agree to see a wholesaler. And if your content doesn't tell your story, chances are you'll not have a productive relationship with the advisor.
